Well, if you are bored of listening to the same background music of Counter Strike on the Main Menu and want to change to your favorite music then it's pretty simple. You just have to rename one of your music files(only
mp3) to '
gamestartup' and simply copy and paste it to the location: "
C:\Program Files\Counter-Strike 1.6\cstrike\media" for default. If you have it in some other location then just paste it to: "
.....\Counter-Strike 1.6\cstrike\media" folder. Make a backup of the original 'gamestartup.mp3' in-case you want to return to the same background music later.
Note: Mp3's having high bit-rates may not be supported. Tested only with Counter Strike 1.6!
